In 1985 Rosa Lee Tittiger felt an official family reunion was in order and we've been doing it ever since. Every
odd-numbered year on the first Saturday in August, Polacks united by Morawski lineage from lands near and far gather
together like a band of gypsies. Although Rosie isn't with us anymore, surely she would want the tradition to continue. It
is my honor to carry on my grandmother’s vision and host the 13 th
Biennial Morawski Family Reunion.
Bring your own drinks, drinking water, table settings, bug spray, and sunscreen. Most important of all, bring
a giant-size dish to pass. We begin eating around 1pm and keep eating and eating (and eating) all day. Please be sure to also
bring your own chairs! Between the cost of stamps and the Polish fertility rate…
…few receive an
invitation. Help us spread the word by telling your parents, your siblings, your kids, your grandchildren, and
your greatgrandchildren!!
You know the routine…

 |
Kids games start at 3pm!
Bring your favorite family recipe written on a recipe card for a chance to win a really cool Polish apron set
with a bonus pierogi magnet!!
(Remember to write your name on the card.) The more recipe cards you enter, the greater your
chances of winning so bring several. Perhaps we’ll have a Morawski Family Recipe Book ready in time for the 2013 reunion!!
Please visit the official family reunion website at
https://morawski2007.tripod.com/
for reunion updates, family history, and heartwarming memoirs.
Geoffrey will be refereeing:
men’s match at 6:30pm
Prepare to compete for awesome prizes!
There will also be a horseshoe tournament! Who will take home the coveted Morawski Family Horseshoe Trophy this
year?!
Don’t forget to wear your family reunion T-shirt! If you don’t have one, or if yours is worn out
because you wear it almost every day, t-shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis. Bring about $7 for adult
and kids sizes!
More info to follow on games and camping and the like.

What Should You Bring/Wear/Be Prepared to Celebrate?
Oh you should be prepared, be very prepared . . .
As
always
Please
bring a place (like maybe a chair) to sit your bottoms!! Bug spray, a dish, like as many, many, many,
dishes as you want to share with the rest of the family.
It is always
nice when we display family photo’s and any family memorabilia you may have and of course LAST, BUT NOT LEAST
(at
least not in this family)
BYOB.
